About Evan Aronsen

With the cost of a transplant often exceeding $500,000, many transplant families are unable to shoulder the financial burden of such a procedure.  The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is a national charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-needy patients.  In San Pablo, volunteers are raising funds for transplant patients like local teen, Evan Aronsen.

Evan is the son of Bernard and Bridget Aronsen.  Born on May 20, 1995, Evan was diagnosed with renal failure.  The doctors at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco, California have recommended a life-saving kidney transplant.  An estimated $55,000 is being raised by San Pablo volunteers.
